About

What We Do

RodneyStreet is a 501(c)3 organization that provides year-round opportunities for Wilmington area youth on and off the tennis court. RodneyStreet combines athletics, academics, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programming, field trips and character-building activities.

Our Mission
Fostering a lifelong love of tennis and learning.
Our Vision
Rodney Street envisions a community where all children have hope, skills and opportunities!

Our Programs

RodneyStreet is an inclusive, non-profit organization that provides high-quality tennis and supportive academic resources to Young People in and around Wilmington. Our programs are designed to develop the potential of our participants and have a positive effect on their life trajectories.

After School Programs

Offered three days a week after school and include one day of weekend match-play per week. This program time is split evenly between on-court tennis instruction and our hands-on academic component, STEAM.

Summer Tennis & Enrichment Program

Our eight-week, full-day summer camp with weekly field trips included. Tennis skills are refined in the mornings, and the afternoons are spent creating and learning in the classroom.

Outreach Programs

Our way of bringing tennis to an already familiar environment to youth throughout Delaware. This past year, we brought tennis to multiple partners in the greater Wilmington area. RodneyStreet reaches an average of 2,500 kids each year through our outreach!
