The mission of RodneyStreet is to foster a lifelong love of tennis and learning. The mission of Down the Line and Beyond Foundation, Inc. (DTLB), is to facilitate positive character and education development for Philadelphia area youth through the sport of tennis, to maximize each child’s full potential on and off the court. Given the similarity of these missions, RodneyStreet and DTLB have agreed that RodneyStreet is the perfect organization to continue the work DTLB has done for youth for more than a decade.
Accordingly, RodneyStreet will be managing DTLB charitable funds arm moving forward. “The Down the Line and Beyond Fund” (DTLB Fund) will provide two scholarship award programs to under-resourced youth in the Delaware and Philadelphia areas. The scholarship awards will be made directly to recipients to support education, tennis, or college scholarships for deserving youth between the ages of 10 and 18.
The DTLB Fund will also provide funding to the Bodine High School Tennis team in Philadelphia for coaching, equipment, and clothing.
